THE FARMHOUSE

 

The structure was built not far from the historic city of Arezzo, in a corner of Tuscany not yet prey to mass tourism. It is immersed in a suggestive rural landscape, along the amazing Sette Ponti road which connects the banks of the Arno river between Florence and Arezzo cities. The building overlooks the Pratomagno massif on one side and the historic Concezione vineyard on the other. A few meters away there is the “Il Poggiale” farmhouse where the first scenes of Oscar-winning movie” Life is Beautiful” have been shot.

The atmosphere you breathe is the genuine one of the past, linked to traditions and peasant life. You can relax walking along the vineyards or decide to take more challenging walks in the paths available nearby.

Due to its location, Concezione is perfect as a base for multiple excursions. From here, in fact, you can easily reach many cities of art such as Florence, Siena, Perugia as well as all the important and historical places of the four valleys of the province: Casentino, Valdarno, Valdichiana and Valtiberina. In addition, the main beaches of the Tyrrhenian and Adriatic seas can be reached in about two hours.

Furthermore, at the farmhouse there is a shop available for guests where to buy wine, honey, oil and many other company products.

THE VILLA

 

“Concezione” comes from an old stone farmhouse whose original plan dates back to the early 1800s. Located near the “Setteponti” wildlife reserve, in old times it was used as a hunting lodge and refreshment point for hunters. The farmhouse has undergone an important recent restoration which has maintained the rural architecture, typical of our places, completely surrounded by nature among vineyards and olive groves. Upstairs it has 4 rooms / suites with panoramic views, equipped with every amenities, furnished with taste and refinement in Tuscan style with stylish furniture and wrought iron beds, partially original terracotta floors and exposed beams which add a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms have private bathrooms and individual heating.

In the large hall on the ground floor where there is a panoramic view of our vineyards, you can enjoy a breakfast of honey, jams, cakes, biscuits, yogurt, cheeses, milk and coffee.

The vast courtyard around the farmhouse offers the possibility of pleasant moments of relax.

THE ROOMS

CANAIOLO

This finely furnished suite is equipped with a four-poster double bed, with an exclusive private bathroom with shower, heating and original terracotta floor. It has a north-east exposure with a view overlooking the Concezione vineyard and the town of Castiglion Fibocchi.

MALVASIA

This finely furnished suite has a double bed. It has a private bathroom with all comforts, heating and original terracotta floor. It has a south-east exposure with a view overlooking the Pratomagno mountain and the town of Castiglion Fibocchi.

SANGIOVESE

This finely furnished double suite offers 4 beds with living room and private bathroom with all comforts, heating and original terracotta floor. It has a north-west exposure with a panoramic view of the company’s vineyards.

TREBBIANO

Double suite and private bathroom with all comforts, heating and original terracotta floor. It has a north-east exposure with a view of the Pratomagno mountain.
