Messer Angelo – I.G.T Rosso Toscana

MESSER ANGELO – I.G.T. TOSCANA ROSSO

Wine dedicated to Messer Angelo Gambiglioni, a well-known jurist of the 1400s who in 1470 bequeathed his possessions to Fraternita dei Laici due to the end of the male dynasty of his family. This wine is produced with Sangiovese and Merlot grapes harvested by hand when perfectly ripe. The fermentations are spontaneous with indigenous yeasts and they take place at a controlled temperature in steel tanks for about 20 days. The wine then ages in first and second use oak barriques for about 20 months.

Soft and round wine mitigated by the presence of Merlot.
