Donna Lu

DONNA LU’ –  IGT TOSCANO BIANCO

This wine is dedicated to Donna Lucrezia, a female figure linked to the history of Fraternita dei Laici. It is a blend of Chardonnay, Grechetto and Vermentino grapes from our vineyards. The label was created by the Japanese artist Noriko Hirokami who, starting from the logo of Tenute di Fraternita reinterpreted it in a modern way.

The grapes are harvested by hand for a careful selection of the bunches. After pressing, the white fermentation takes place in oak barrels. Fermentation starts spontaneously thanks to the indigenous yeasts and last for about 10 days.
After fermentation, the aging of Donna Lu’ is in barriques then in bottle.
